Sponsorships & Engagements

Bring the Season for Nonviolence to your city, university, or organization.

The Gandhi-King Center’s engagement catalog is built around one thing: the Season. Programming runs from a 30-second personalized video message to a full Season kickoff weekend with the Gandhi and King families present.

The Spine

About the Season for Nonviolence.

The Season is the Gandhi-King Center’s anchor program: 64 days running from January 30 (the anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination) to April 4 (the anniversary of Dr. King’s assassination), founded by Arun Gandhi in 1998 with the support of Coretta Scott King.

Every package in the catalog below is a way an organization brings the Season into its city, university, or congregation: from a full kickoff weekend with the families present, down to a single video message a student can share in a classroom on January 30.

What you’re actually paying for.

The Center’s academic board members (Drs. Oroszi, Polkinghorn, and Ellis) waive their honoraria for nonprofits, K-12 schools, HBCUs, public libraries, and faith communities, as a matter of practice. Listed prices reflect hard costs:

  • Legacy family appearance fees (Tushar Gandhi; Rev. Joel King; the Foster cousins of Coretta Scott King, when applicable)
  • Travel and lodging for all participating board members and staff
  • Artifacts exhibit insurance, shipping, curation, and on-site security
  • Commemorative coin minting with host-organization branding
  • VIP event production: gala, dinner, AV, photography, signage
  • Documentation deliverables to the host (event photo set + video recap reel)

Corporate, government, and well-funded foundation engagements are priced at the published rates. Sliding scale available for mission-aligned hosts who cannot meet the published numbers. Reach out with your context.
