The Gandhi-King Center for Nonviolence collects only the information necessary to respond to your inquiries, process donations, and operate the Season for Nonviolence and related programs.

When you submit a contact form, lending request, or partnership inquiry through this site, we collect the information you provide: your name, email, organization, and the content of your message. Form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms.
When you donate via PayPal, donation processing is handled by PayPal under their privacy policy. The Gandhi-King Center receives the information PayPal forwards (typically your name, email, and the amount of the gift).
This site does not use behavioral advertising trackers. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Contact information is used to respond to your inquiry, follow up on partnership or lending requests, and acknowledge donations for tax purposes. We may contact you about future Season for Nonviolence events if you indicate interest.
We retain contact and donor information for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and to meet IRS recordkeeping requirements applicable to 501(c)(3) private foundations.
You may request that we correct, update, or delete personal information about you at any time by writing to Admin@gandhi-king-center-for-nonviolence.org.
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents who believe their child has submitted information may contact us to request its removal.
Gandhi-King Center for Nonviolence does not sell, rent, or trade personal information about donors, subscribers, volunteers, or visitors to this site. We do not exchange your data for money or other consideration with any third party.
The categories of personal information we hold (name, email, mailing address, donation history) are used only to operate the center, process donations, acknowledge gifts for tax purposes, respond to your inquiries, and send communications you have opted in to receive.
To request that we delete personal information we hold about you, write to Admin@gandhi-king-center-for-nonviolence.org with the subject line Data Deletion Request. We respond within 30 days.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
